Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is as strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame. 6

Avoid the Five Success-Murdering Weapons
Last night after our church council meeting I was the guest of honor at a mini-baby shower [for Sarah who’s been born two weeks earlier] - we brought home quite a lot! My copy of [my second novel] Legacy came; it had been addressed to Minot, ND (there is one about 3 1/2 hours east of Minot) and it came just as we were eating!

Alvin, David. Legacy. Bloomington, IN: AuthorHouse, 2006.
ISBN 1425907431
The sequel to the author’s own Progeny broadens the world of Gadgetmaster, Zenia the teleporter, and many heroes and villains from the first book and introduces new ones — not always seamlessly — who become as familiar as and in some cases overshadow those meant to be the villains. The time span of the book, 2022 to August 2023, introduces otherdimensional Esperians to a rebuilding Earth, a resentment of drafted super humans, and some pathos that drives the world and these multifaceted heroes to the brink. No one escapes the impact.
Ok, so writing about my own book I couldn’t be totally objective.
But jump forward to 2019, where we’ve got our daughter Sarah reading the second book in the After series which she bought on the heels of her finishing the first in FIVE days. I almost don’t see her without it — reminds me of someone I know! And when Jeffrey finds the series or subject that makes him all a-tingle ... hey, Martha may confer the musicality, but I’ll make up for other deficiencies. Now if only those would get the home front more talkative with me.
Too much, David
