I Need(ed) A LOT of Wisdom!

Proverbs 24 January 24
Nancy’s love and work for Kheira 9701.24
Through wisdom is a house builder; and by understanding is it established:
And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and pleasant riches.
A wise man is strong; yea, a man of knowledge increaseth strength.
For by wise counsel thou shalt make thy war: and in multitude of counselors there is safety. 3-6
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small. 10
For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: but the wicked shall fall into mischief. 16
[Nancy is — at least, was in 1997 when this journal entry was written according to the day before — a missionary in Cairo, Egypt and Kheira was one of the children there. At the bottom of the page in this “Star Trek: First Contact” themed journal I’ve got prayer requests for Donna Smith with her cold and making ends (bills!) meet.]
And that’s the end of the page for that day. Nothing else I did or that I was at, though I see it’s bookended by a presentation I heard from a (then) 30-year-old veterinarian and business owner the day before and a senior recital I attended the day after ... in any event, here I am after taking a day off (Personal Time Off, PTO) and having done three loads of laundry, attempting some cleaning of the living room, and packing up more books and clothes to give away.
You know, those things I say I’ll get done on the weekends but I don’t?
But I’m getting better at it, David
